Aniling, first spin-off from the IMPPC

Miguel A Peinado and Llorenç Coll, a postdoctoral investigator from the Epigenetic Mechanisms of Cancer and Cell Differentiation Group have set up the first spin-off company from the IMPPC. Aniling aims to translate advances in the fields of genomics and epigenomics into everyday clinical practice.

The company has been awarded the second prize of the Bioemprenedor XXI program for an innovative approach related with next generation sequencing.

BioemprenedorXXI prize is an initiative of "la Caixa", Barcelona Activa, and Biocat, and aims to help participants create their own biotech business by means of a series of training activities and feasibility analyses of their business ideas.
