Mayka Sanchez, Investigadora Principal del IMPPC recibe una ayuda de la Fundación Ramón Areces
En la última reunión del Patronato de la Fundación Ramón Areces ha sido aprobado la propuesta del Jurado de Selección de los proyectos de investigación cientÃfica y técnica, correspondientes al XVI Concurso Nacional
A project presented by the IMPPC Group Leader Mayka Sanchez was awarded a Ramón Areces Foundation grant in their latest Trustees Meeting. The project was chosen by the Selection Committee for Scientific and Technical Research Projects for the XVI National Call and has been awarded 100,000 euros over three years.
Mayk Sanchez has been at the IMPPC since the end of 2009 as Group Leader of the group Cancer and Iron. She currently has several projects in progress and this award will allow her to contract a new member of staff for her laboratory.
The project will carry out research into rare iron metabolism diseases.
