Barcelona Chromatin Club
Following the example of many other cities, we have now set up the Barcelona Chromatin Club (BCC). The BCC is meant to provide a new tool, a platform to meet, interact and federate the chromatin and epigenetics community which represent one of the strongest research lines in Barcelona.
Barcelona Chromatin Club has kick-started its activities by organizing a continuous series of six-monthly BCC Symposia co-sponsored by Active Motif and the Institute for Predictive and personalized Medicine of Cancer.
Alternating PIs from Barcelona organize these half-day symposia and bring together local and international groups to discuss a selected hot topic during a one-day symposium. Applications to organise an edition of BCC symposium are very welcome (more details here).
The Barcelona Chromatin Club is sponsored by Active Motif
Tentative outline of BCC symposia:
- Twice a year, half day
- Selected hot topic
- 2-5 local speakers
- 1-2 international speaker(s)
- 1-2 short-talk awards (that include accomodation for non-BCN based speakers)
The event is followed by a netoworking lunch.
