First Meeting of the IMPPC Scientific Advisory Boad[2009-12-12]
On 12 December 2009 the first meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) was held at the IMPPC.
Dr Angel Pellicer of New York University (NYU, New York) as chairman and the following members of the SAP attended the meeting: Dr George Klein (Karolinska Institute, Stockholm), Dr Yun Yokota (National Cancer Center Research Institute, Tokyo), Dr Richard Hamelin (INSERM, Paris), Dr Raquel Seruca (IPATIMUP, Porto), Dr Victor Corces (Emory University, Atlanta), Dr Kristiina Vuori (Burnham Institute for Medical Research (BIMR), La Jolla)
The SAB heard presentations from the director and investigators of the IMPPC and Ramon Noguera, Director of Projects of the Institution of the Research Centres of Catalonia (Generalitat of Catalonia) also explained the autonomous government policy for research centres.
