The Casa de Convalescència is a beautifully restored building from the Barcelona Modernist period (end of the XIX Century). It forms part of the famous Hospital San Pau and Santa Creu campus, now a World Heritage Site.
Hotels
The Casa de la Convalèscencia has an agreement with two nearby hotels, which provide special prices for conference visitors. Delegates are asked to make their own bookings.
- Hotel Amrey Sant Pau , This hotel is directly opposite the venue.
- Hotel Ayre Rosselló, Very close to the Sagrada Família and about 25 minutes walk from the venue along the scenic Gaudí Avenue.
You must make your own booking with the hotel, but please use this PDF form to be eligible for the conference discount.
Reaching Barcelona from the Airport
There are regular shuttle buses to the centre of Barcelona from Terminals 1 and 2 and a train service from Terminal 2. You can buy tickets at the train station or on the bus. A taxi will cost approx. 30 euros, depending on your final destination and luggage.
